TMF Director Addresses the CCR at IBM's On Demand Conference

Dave McCord, TM Floyd's Director of Application Development, presented on the Continuity of Care Record (CCR) at IBM’s annual On Demand conference in Los Angeles.

The CCR is a personal electronic medical record, which a patient can take with them wherever the patient goes for treatment. The CCR is saved in a standardized format to be easily read by providers’ electronic medical record and practice management systems. The CCR is designed to include medical records from providers, claims and coverage information from health plans, and inputted information from the patient.

With a complete record available on demand, providers will be able to deliver more effective care.
