TM Floyd & Company consultant graduates from Leadership Columbia

Powers Strickland, a consultant at TM Floyd & Company, currently working as the Communications Manager for IT-oLogy, graduated from the 2012 Leadership Columbia class on June 12.

The Leadership Columbia program, sponsored by the Greater Columbia Chamber of Commerce, provides leaders with opportunities to enhance their civic knowledge and network. This year’s Leadership Columbia class selected the Free Medical Clinic as the community service project with the goal of refurbishing the clinic and collecting needed supplies and funds to help the operation of the center.

Powers works to increase awareness of opportunities in information technology and inform students, parents, partners, and the media about opportunities that IT-oLogy provides to the Midlands. Powers is a member of the Junior League of Columbia and is actively involved in the community. Before joining TM Floyd & Company, she served as the director of development for Sandhills School and the special events coordinator for the SC Chapter of the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation.
